JUL 2009 

HHI ATA officially announces that all Homestead Helicopters Advanced Training courses are approved and sanctioned by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under FAR Part 141.

JAN 2009

HHI takes delivery of a new 2008 Bell 206L4 with a High Altitude Tail Rotor from Bell Helicopter Textron. This new helicopter will be completed at our facility in Missoula, MT and outfitted for forestry and fire fighting use. Completion is expected by the end of March 2009.

JAN 2009

HHI is proud to announce receipt of a 3 year Exclusive Use Aerial Ignition / Fire Suppression Spring Contract in the SW Region 8 with the USFS for one of our 206L4 helicopters.

NOV 2008

HHI ATA announces booth presence at HAI Heli-Expo2009 in Anaheim, CA. HHI ATA will be answering questions and showcasing our full line of Advanced Training Courses at Booth 1728 Feb. 22-24 at the Heli-Expo 2009.

OCT 2008

HHI ATA enrolls first student in our Rotorcraft External Load Combination Course and USFS Fire Fighting Standards Course. ATA is open and in full operation.

SEP 2008

HHI begins construction on new offices and training center at our Missoula, MT facility. This construction will add an additional 900 sq/ft of administrative offices and classroom space to provide for the implementation of our new training academy.

JUL 2008

Homestead Helicopters, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Mr. Tim Pfahler to our staff. Tim is the Ret. USFS Helicopter Standardization Pilot and will be joining HHI to lead the development of an Advanced Training Academy for the Natural Resource pilot in the areas of Vertical Reference, Mountain Flying, and Fire Fighting.
